We are seeking an Applications Systems Engineer 6 to be part of a Team that provides reporting for Risk and Compliance across all levels of the organization.
Primary responsibilities for the individual in this role:
Develop Solution Architecture for Enterprise Strategic Risk technology solutions.
Adhere to team standards, processes, work-flows, and schedules.
Partner with Architects, Developers, and Senior Managers to develop technology roadmap.
Approach development and production issues methodically.
Work on multiple complex issues and projects.
Design and build solutions in a microservices/open architecture.
Develop and execute customer experience solutions for online applications.
Create complex industry-leading user interface design solutions.
Serve as design "advocate" with the ability to forecast and assess industry trends and their impact on the company's product design alternatives.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Oversee the execution of strategic design projects that influence design and strategic direction.
Identify and lead implementation through business tools and partnerships with technology and other key business organizations throughout the enterprise.
Build alliances with the lines of business, technical operations, and architecture teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Provide product usability, evaluation, and support to product development teams.
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
May oversee work performed by others and serve as a mentor to the direction of the unit while not managing people.

6+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design
7+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
5 + years of AngularJS experience
5+ years of Hibernate experience
2+ years of experience in microservices development
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
3+ years of experience working on risk applications
Risk and finance regulatory reporting experience
1+ year of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) experience
Cloud computing experience
Web design and development experience
2 + years of Wells Fargo application development experience
6+ years of SQL experience
