Reporting to the Manager of IT Security, this is an exciting opportunity for a Security Operations Analyst to support ICBC’s IT Security functions and become a technical security leader.
You will work closely with ICBC’s Information Risk Management, platform teams, and application teams as well as a managed Security Operations Center. The Analyst is responsible for delivery and continuous improvement of IT security functions using ITIL principles and alignment to ISO 27000 controls.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying, triaging, and resolving IT security incidents
Participating in and enhancing the vulnerability management process
Developing and maintaining process documentation and playbooks
Operating and supporting IT Security tools
Monitoring and following up on threat and vulnerability intelligence sources
Enhancing security operations, tools, processes, and procedures
Contributing to and improving IT Security metrics
The successful candidate will have a 5+ years’ experience in a large, complex IT environment. The candidate will also bring demonstrated knowledge of:
Supporting information security incidents, controls, processes, and associated tools
Collaborating with multiple teams to identify, manage and resolve security threats
Analyzing and interpreting technical logs and data to identify incident root cause
Understanding of business and IT processes with the ability to identify security requirements
IT Service Management practice
Presenting technical information at the appropriate level for the target audience
Well-developed people skills, including approachability and sociability
