This Apps Systems Engineering 4 position will focus on automation testing responsibilities for web applications with mainframe interfaces. This quality assurance expert will support complex financial services applications connected to banking mainframe applications and thus preferred candidates will have previous experience in large enterprise environments such as banking, insurance or the like.
The responsibilities of this position will include:
Performing as a Quality Assurance professional on the Treasury Information Reporting application which includes 30+ customized reports, in various formats
Participating in team meetings
Writing and executing automation test scripts
Logging, tracking, and verifying resolution of defects
Validating data within the different reports / different formats
Working closely with business, development and quality assurance teams
Other responsibilities of this position could include:
Developing original and/or complex code or providing coding guidance to less experienced staff.
Leading and/or performing modeling, simulations and analysis efforts.
Verifying program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
Participating in overall systems testing.
Leading the migration of applications to production.
Developing new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides.
Acting as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
Leading projects, including assignment of tasks, and providing direction and guidance to less experienced staff.
Assuring quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and overseeing updating and testing of the business continuation plan.

5+ years of application development and implementation experience
3+ years of Quality Center experience
5+ years of experience testing web-based applications developed in Java or .NET framework
4+ years of experience building and executing automated tests (not Record & Playback)
3+ years of implementing test automation using Selenium, web services or SQL
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of Git or GitHub
2+ years of financial services experience
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience in automating data validation
Ability to read data mapping documentation
Experience with Jenkins; Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD)
Previous experience testing Treasury Information Reporting (TIR) application
Knowledge of QMetry
Ability to work outside of regular business hours
