The position is for a senior hands-on engineer/developer to work on enhancing and supporting the Simcorp and Wall Street Trema Accounting systems used in support of the Bank's balance sheet management activities. The successful candidate will have experience working on design and implementation of large distributed systems and platforms and hands on development and integration experience.
Experience and focused on managing all aspects of the secure application development life cycle and ensuring code reviews, test driven development, test automation, continuous build/integration/deploy of the platform.
Experience with Agile development methodology.
Acts as a senior engineer in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
Standard responsibilities include:
Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications.
Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code.
Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides.
Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff.
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.
The work location is Minneapolis, MN. Preference will be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to Minneapolis, MN with no relocation assistance.
