Home Lending Technology is seeking a qualified Application System Engineer 6 candidate who would be responsible for leading technical design, development and enhancement of multiple Web Applications.
The selected candidate would be a full stack developer responsible to design, develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring framework and other technologies to include: Oracle db, Angular 2+, HTML5 in an Apache/Tomcat environment. The candidate should be well versed in working with REST and SOAP based web services and should also be capable of working with data access technologies like JPA, JDBC and know how to incorporate efficient entity relationships in a high performance OLTP environment.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Providing technical leadership, mentoring and direction to less experienced development team members.
Analyzing highly complex business requirements for designing and writing technical specifications to deliver complex computer platforms and applications.
Acting as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
Verifying program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
Establishing and maintaining end-to-end SDLC practices and DEVOPS.
This position must be based at the Wells Fargo site location in Minneapolis, MN or Phoenix, AZ. Please note: Relocation assistance will not be provided. 10+ years of application development and implementation experience
10+ years of Java experience
10+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
5+ years of leadership or management experience
5 + years of technology release or implementation experience
5+ years of UI (User Interface) experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
5+ years of Spring experience
5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles
Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers
Financial services industry experience
Knowledge and understanding of home lending or consumer lending
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
