Provides technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs. Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions. Develops original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced staff.Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts. As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan.
Level 3 production support including; resolution of complex technical issues, providing expertise with vendor applications and infrastructure and configurations. Primary applications being supported is a vendor licensed and internally hosted ASP.Net, SQL Server based platform and a 3rd Party SaaS platform.
Act as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting.
Lead the resolution of complex issues or escalates as needed to meet established service level agreements.
Responsibilities include installation of vendor provided binaries on Windows IIS servers in non-production environments and directing Middleware, DBA, F5, and Windows OS resources on the installation in Production and BCP.
Managing Change events, including enhancements, upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
Writing installation documentation for Production and BCP environments and leading the installation of vendor application code.
Position is responsible for working with the Third Party software vendor to obtain enhancements, fixes, and patches and then have the updated code deployed through the environments for testing prior to production deployment.
Candidate will take the lead on resolving support issues and engage partner support teams such as database support, Middleware, firewall, F5, and network and lead the resolution of production issues impacting the emBTRUST application.
Position will also create automation workflows to support business processes using embedded functionality in the emBTRUST application.
Position will have strong application support experience, familiarity with SQL databases, NAS, load balancers, and other network technologies.
Work schedule includes on call Level 3 application support and after hours and weekend hours in support of application installations and releases.
