This IT Business Analyst II will be responsible for:
Gathering functional requirements for software systems and generating applicable documentation including Project Charters, Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and use cases.
Interacting with hospital end user groups (clinical and non-clinical groups) and conducting analysis sessions. Implementing innovative workflow analysis and requirement gathering techniques to capture precise specifications from dynamic end user groups.
Creating wire frames, screen mockups and semi-functional prototypes to assist end users in designing systems and evaluating various proposed solution designs.
Working in collaboration with Quality Assurance group to come up with appropriate test plans, test case and requirement coverage matrices.
Performing other tasks and projects, as requested, including procedural documentation, feasibility studies, participation in quality and operational improvement processes and participating in general IT innovation initiatives.
Participating in Information Analysis, Data Analysis as well as Object Oriented Analysis and Object Oriented Design in collaboration with IT resources.
In order to qualify, you must have:
Bachelor's degree and three to four years' work experience.
Healthcare, information technology and/or or proven business analyst experience preferred.
Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems or design relatively complex systems and programs that cross department/divisional lines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions.
