This Applications Systems Engineer 2 is a senior Capital Markets lead developer role where significant contributions are mandated to support the Fixed Income trading desk. The Engineer will utilize extensive experience in fixed income electronic trading, and will lead a small team consisting of both onshore and off-shore resources. This Engineer will:
Play a key role in managing the migration of existing FIX protocol based venues to the strategic stack so executions and post-trade feeds are leveraged and streamlined.
Lead the design and architecture effort, and collaborate with multiple teams and trading venues, as part of integration and migration efforts.
Participate in design and implementation of the enterprise wide data strategy effort where exposure to skills and toolsets for data modelling, data analytics, and data management will be required.

Knowledge and understanding of capital markets: front office technology and systems

Knowledge and understanding of SOA (Services Oriented Architecture)
Knowledge and understanding of trading desk or capital market operations
