Credit Risk, LIBOR and Volcker Production Support – The Systems Support Analyst 5 will provide support and maintenance for the several applications in test and production environments. The position is responsible for the triage and resolution of complex system and/or application issues and the deployment of code within a controlled change-management environment. The candidate will provide on-call support for production applications and work closely with other team members, proprietary and vendor development staff and various other teams to resolve issues. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to provide solutions to issues. The candidate must be able to work within a high-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
The opportunity is to join our Charlotte-based Wells Fargo team, with focus on covering the support of applications used within the Credit and Regulatory applications, in addition to associated development projects both locally and globally. The team owns the holistic support of the LIBOR, Credit Risk & Volcker technology platform including tactical enhancements, application upgrades, new application rollouts, maintenance and performance tuning.
The team provides a depth of technology services to the organization whose strategy leverages both proprietary built systems that complement customized vendor applications. The team is in transition into building a truly global follow the sun model, in line with the business changes.
The team supports several applications that are responsible for regulatory reporting. The corresponding batches run 24x6 and the team is responsible for supporting the applications during that time frame. This requires that flexibility to address issues that come up, as needed.
Application Support of the LIBOR Transition, Credit Risk & Volcker applications, including interfacing with front-office users daily
Troubleshooting business issues, solving problems to provide solutions to diverse infrastructure teams and the product aligned trading desks
Ownership and accountability for the operation, monitoring and integrity of the technology platform
Escalation support for the members of the team located in other regions including evenings and weekends on a rotational basis
Ownership and participation in the Problem and Incident management processes, being accountable for resolution, root cause analysis and technology and business reporting and communication.
Providing oversight for the stability of the production environment within the change management process ensuring policies are enforced and adhered to
Relationship management internally with the trading desks, operations teams, and other infrastructure partners
Navigate the wider technology organization; build relationships to manage the team's agenda with our critical technology partners.
Interface with external vendors and their technical support and development organizations ensuring focus to resolution of issues and strategic enhancements.
Proactively identify improvements and address them through independent thinking within a consensus driven team.

6+ years of application production support experience
5+ years of UNIX experience
3+ years of SQL experience
Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations; including management
Strong team or technical leadership experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
1+ year of PAC2000 experience
A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
3+ years of Autosys experience
Knowledge and understanding of desktop and Windows server operating systems
Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
