The Application Products Center of Excellence (APCoE) is responsible for programs, initiatives and efforts relating to the product lifecycle, patching and configuration management for all third party products aligned to the Applications, Asset Class Owner (ACO). Our goals include developing and maintaining sustainable processes that align to the Corporate Policies and Control Standards. Related programs include, but are not limited to, the Configuration Management Program (CMP), Enterprise Technology Currency Practice (ETCP) and the Enterprise Patch Program (EPP).
The Analytic Consultant 4 will be responsible for building and designing reporting and metrics visualizations that support, measure and identify improvement opportunities relevant to the APCoE business processes. The candidate will support and maintain the APCoE portfolio reporting system, produce quantifiable reporting solutions, develop solutions for forecasting, predictive modeling, KPIs, KRIs, metrics, trending controls and other.
The position also requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to design solutions in a face paced environment with limited requirements. Data validation against source applications, tools, processes, programs and requirements is required to be successful in this position. The ability to create strong, easy to read reporting visualizations, from the aggregate level to drill down data is essential in this role.
The ideal candidate for this position:
Knowledge and understanding of the Corporate Policies and Control Standards
Experience in reporting, metrics and reporting visualizations
Strong background with SQL, Excel, Tableau and other BI reporting and analytical tools
Data modeling and database design with SQL implementation
Experience creating, supporting and maintaining a database and/or data-mart
Experience creating operational databases and data models
Experience using query tools, reporting tools, BI tools to create reports, metrics, dashboards, storyboards and other data visualizations
Ability to build, support and implement database solutions using Team Foundation Server(TFS) and query tools
6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
5+ years of T-SQL (Transact-SQ) experience
2 + years of Tableau Dashboard development experience
3+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
3+ years of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Servicer Reporting Services (SSRS) experience, or a combination of both
Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
3+ years of data modeling experience
2+ years of Tableau experience
Knowledge and understanding of analytical methods used to: develop interactive dashboards and scorecards
2 + years of Team Foundation Server (TFS) experience
Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Knowledge and understanding of business requirements analysis including: identification of alternative solutions and associated tradeoffs
Ability to develop reports and metrics
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology

Experience using Team Foundation Server, TFS-GIT or other source code tools
4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, and/or data modeling
The ability to develop SQL code to integrate and model various data sets for reporting and analytics
The ability to write and execute on Teradata databases
Advanced experience with Excel using formulas, pivots tables and charts for data analytics
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
