The Risk and Finance CIO organization provides technology to several enterprise functions including Risk, Compliance, Finance, Audit and Legal with a combined technology spend in excess of $500+MM annually and is an 1100+ person global organization. This position is in support of Enterprise Compliance's global equity aggregation function.
The Compliance Risk Technology lead role that will be responsible for ETL design and development and ongoing support of Compliance Reporting platform. The position will be responsible for executing against the Compliance Risk Technology Strategic plan through development of the reporting platform, and responsible for the overall technical design, development and implementation. The success of the role will require focusing on developing partnerships and working collaboratively with the business partners and ensuring that their requirements are clearly understood, and solutions provided meet their needs. The reporting database will house data from a variety of data sources transformation through SSIS/Informatica /Ab Initio and that will make it conducive to using business intelligence tools like Tableau, SSRS, Qlik, Cognos, etc, that will allow Compliance to pull together information that will aid them in their policy and decision making processes.
Acting as expert technical resource to programming staff in the development, testing, and implementation process
Partnering Compliance Risk business partners to understand their needs and implement technology solutions.
Creating the overall technology development and implementation plans, and driving delivery to those plans.
Create thorough designs - taking care to assure that designs integrate well into existing architecture.
Analyze highly complex business requirements, designs and write technical specifications.
Collaborate across teams, including global teams, to create high quality solution designs.
Design, develop, test, and deploy data integration initiative. As a lead Developer perform Design & Code reviews and process optimization.
Provides design and development support for analytical systems and data integration applications
Analyzes complex requirements and translates to technical design and specifications
Design, development, test, and implement application ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) code
Utilize a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs to source, map, extract and load large volumes of data.
Work on complex problems where analysis of data requires a solid grasp of compliance, regulatory and technology risk domains.
Manage the day-to-day activities of the development team that will consist of on and offshore team members, contractors and consultants.
Experience in relational and dimensional models.
Experience in large scale data warehouse architectures & Performance optimization.
10+ years of application development and implementation experience
10+ years of database experience
7+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
5+ years of experience leading technical development teams
5+ years of experience with end-to-end design and delivery of data warehouse applications
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Other Desired Qualifications
BS degree or higher in computer science, engineering, math, or similar discipline.
Working knowledge of big data and AI technologies.
