Wells Fargo Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) provides inventory financing solutions, services, and intelligence through in-depth industry expertise and a commitment to customers. As a leading provider in specialized financing and servicing solutions to over 40,000 customers globally, CDF delivers when it comes to helping facilitate the manufacturing, distribution, and sale of products across a variety of industries – from Powersports, Marine, and Recreational Vehicles, to Outdoor Lawn & Garden, Agriculture, Technology, and Electronics & Appliances.
This role manages RV portfolio control for assigned accounts and serves as liaison between Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and CDF (Dealer Portfolio Management, Operations, Commercial Team and Special Asset Group).
Market Skills and Certifications
Conducts portfolio reviews to ensure quality, risk and operating standards are met
Manage and/or monitor management of loans, and where applicable develops, negotiates and manages collection plans
Reviews internal systems and reports to identify potential problem loan and initiate proactive resolution
Assists with process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times and increase capacity to the team's goal of total account management
Identifies and encourages organic growth through active dealer development
Supports the Portfolio Manager by thinking strategically to address critical operational needs, ranging from process inefficiencies to suggestions for training requirements
Audit and collateral reconciliation, preowned, demonstrator and returned equipment
Follow for financial statements and updated insurance policies where required
Represents Commercial Distribution Finance to key customers and has decision authority on over-lines, interest adjustment, payment workout
Resolves complex customer inquiries, billing errors, payment performance and disputes.
General knowledge of accounting principles
Post-secondary business/accounting education
A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
Ability to recognize deteriorating loan performance
Excellent communication skills; both oral and written
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external clients
Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with company guidelines
Bilingual in English and French is an asset
Customer service and collection experience
