Wells Fargo Auto(WFA) has fast grown to become one of the largest auto-finance lenders in the nation, responsible for lending close to over $18B per year. With Auto Technology, the Collections and Recovery Services (CARS) team engages in all aspects of design and development for the Auto business delinquency management lines of business. This includes analysis, design, development, unit testing, and quality assurance throughout the entire software development life cycle. Within WFA, the CARS team routinely interfaces with the technical and business units in the formulation of technical strategy and direction for storing, maintaining, and accessing collections related data. The team also regularly engages with other systems development groups to set the direction for shared services design, working closely with infrastructure teams to make ensure that our platform server infrastructure is up to the task to supporting the applications and the shared services. A developer on this team will find himself or herself working with a combination of many technologies in order to solve complex technical and business problems.
Responsible for designing and architecting well-integrated and cost-effective solutions
Assists a senior technical lead by providing input to application design activities, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides.
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.
The position involves extensive complex analysis, design, and programming skills drawing upon technology competencies where the team member is comfortable constantly building technical solutions within the framework of larger application architectures.
