The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), Dean's Office in the School of Medicine has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Analyst to work within its busy Office of Academic Administration.

Process actions related to faculty and fellow appointments.
Manage and attends to confidential matters of faculty employment, credentialing, payroll and records management processes for the department Investigate, research, and apply human resource regulation, practice, and policy to provide hands on and problem resolution support.
Administer employment, credentialing, payroll and human resource records processes for the unit.
Collaborate with Human Resource Services to implement and effectively communicate campus human resource policy, regulations, procedures, and programs.
Analyzes personnel trends and is responsible for monitoring, tracking, and ensuring compliance.
Provide expertise in complex operational processes of the office.
Assist in the support of school committees.
Provide expertise in and advising customers about faculty and appointment processes.
Advise customers about faculty and fellow salaries.
Draft and edit correspondence.
Maintain and report from database and Excel logs (periodic and ad hoc).
Produce and edit the publication of detailed written and statistical reports
Provide input for updating complex office website.
Effectively interact with senior management, faculty and departmental support staff.
Perform administrative & clerical duties as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, finance, accounting, human resources, or other related field.
Experience: Three (3) years of related experience in human resources and business, budget, or financial operations.
