- Reporting directly into the Head of Credit Analysis & Structuring you play a key role in this growing team, who will underwrite and perform due diligence on potential transaction opportunities
- You will conduct client and transaction due diligence through financial modelling and detailed credit and legal analysis, and, regularly engage with clients and capital providers
- This key and highly visible role will require you to represent my client to their innovative clients, demonstrating your credibility and strong understanding of the subject matter with a view to structuring bespoke financing solutions
- You will lead the structuring process on transactions across all parties, both internal and external (i.e. clients, capital partners, legal, service providers, etc.)
- Respond to routine client queries with a focus on delivering exceptional levels of client service / satisfaction
- Prepare presentations/materials for external stakeholders, including clients, capital partners, equity investors, and others as needed
- Evolve and Remain true to the firm's credit principles and credit culture throughout all transactions
Your Experience: - You will have a very strong and relevant record of academic achievement / rigour, demonstrating a complete level of comfort with numbers.
- Possess strong numerical and financial modelling skills critical combined with exceptional Excel skills
- Be able to demonstrate accomplished credit analysis experience from a specialty finance lender, investment bank, private credit/private equity investment group, hedge fund, or asset manager
- Possess a "Cradle to Grave" understanding of the credit / deal structuring process with ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of financial structures, legal frameworks (working with lawyers) and regulatory issues
- Understanding practically or conceptually of intellectual property and how it is monitized
- Candidates with direct experience in media, technology, sports, music, entertainment or related sectors would be preferred, but in any case, you must be able to evidence a passion and demonstrable interest in these sectors with a strong focus on intellectual property
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the desire to work with both internal and external stakeholders and the emotional intelligence to operate and thrive within a fast-paced and dynamic start-up environment
- Be able to demonstrate unquestioned integrity and the highest ethical standards, and, be a first class team player
- Ability to multi-task, think ahead and meet deadlines
My Client: - My client is an innovator and has come to market with a totally unique market offering that is needed and wanted by the Sports, Music and Entertainment sectors within which it operated
- Through previous experience and expert market knowledge my client has identified that leading global creatives (e.g. musicians, athletes) across the sports, music and entertainment sectors face a lack of suitable IP (intellectual property) monetization/financing solutions
- Acting as a principal agent they look to originate and structure both debt and equity transactions for IP (intellectual property) related assets and have the additional benefit of having very strong partnership with funders on its platform that include the likes of Insurance Companies, Pension funds, Asset Managers, Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, and Family Offices
