The Employment Law Group (ELG) provides legal support to all divisions across the firm. ELG is responsible for all employment related litigation, including regulatory matters. Working closely with the Human Capital Management (HCM)Division, ELG provides advice and strategic input to the handling of employee relations matters as well as providing support and advice in relation to (amongst other things) the firm's benefits and mobility programs, compensation, diversity, recruitment, acquisitions and divestitures.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL Role Responsibilities
Provide operational support for ELG processes both in EMEA and globally including year-end processes, operational reporting, and insurance reporting.
The role will involve close collaboration with the established HCM Employee Relations Operations Team in Warsaw in relation to these processes and related reports, and liaising with the head of the ELG Operations team in NY and with colleagues across the globe.
The role will provide an ELG point of contact for a range of operational processes involving Compensation Accounting, Accounting Services, Equity Compensation, and other groups throughout the firm.
Drive development of key metrics and analytics for presentations to senior management and other key stakeholders
Manage operational aspects of the EMEA severance processes lifecycle
Partner with Engineering on the development and implementation of Legal Division and ELG platforms and tools
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR Basic Qualifications
Excellent organizational, drafting and communication skills (oral and written): commitment to excellence; ability to draft precise yet accessible communications
Strong computer skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Business Objects, with a focus on Excel functions including pivot tables, vlookups, and other formulas, as well as the ability to learn new software programs effectively
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience in analyzing and managing complex and detailed processes
Confident and strong project management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to build and maintain strong relationships with relevant business groups within the firm; ability to work collaboratively and across geographies with a team of diverse individuals
Excellent judgment and ability to assess risks
Highly motivated and proactive; the ability to respond calmly, creatively and quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure, changing environment; a strong work ethic.
