Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.
The Corporate Risk Chief Operating Office is seeking a Business Support Consultant 5. This role will primarily be responsible for enhancement to critical SHRP Solutions. The Business Support Consultant 5 is also responsible for large scale transformation and re-platforming programs and will assist the Business Support Functional Consultant 1 in larger transformation efforts.
Other responsibilities might include, but are not limited to:
Accountable individual for program/product/project delivery of significant risk, complexity, scope, and financial impact for a single large functional area or a combination of small diverse functional areas.
Serves as the primary liaison between the business unit and various support partners in achieving business deliverables; includes: planning and implementation of strategies and process advancements.
Establishes priorities and drives accountability for assigned initiatives, providing leadership to ensure solutions are designed, integrated and controlled to optimize effectiveness and create efficiencies as appropriate.
Works with key internal partners to distill complex concepts into pragmatic and simplified/targeted solutions.
Develops and implements reporting/information delivery/presentations with key stakeholders and senior management within responsible area, including root cause, cost/benefit, and risk analyses.
Leads a work stream of projects in the Corporate Risk portfolio for Tech Solutions and Business Process Integration programs and initiatives. Manages communication across horizontal and vertical teams and business partners; and leads interrelated work.
Facilitate the front to back solution design value chain for the accountable Risk Executive. This includes Ideation, design, requirements gathering, documentation, implementation planning and execution.
Provides direction to a cross-functional team using business acumen and expertise; does not have direct reports.
10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience in one or a combination of the following: first line experience, second line experience, process design and deployment, application design, strategic portfolio management or technology experience within the financial services industry.
