This Financial Business Systems Analyst II (PeopleSoft) will be responsible for:
Under the guidance of Lead and Senior Financial Business Systems Analysts, assisting with daily operations, development administration and maintenance of hospital's financial information and reporting systems. Working closely with analysts, solution architects and developers to support the implementation of Finance Department goals and initiatives.
Assisting in the maintenance and administration of financial systems (primarily PeopleSoft) in partnership with internal and external resources.
Participating in activities as they relate to strategy discussions, production support, upgrades and implementations, system optimizations, business process improvements and developing end user engagement.
Providing support to finance staff on systems processes, data flow, controls and interfaces for financial information systems.
Gathering and analyzing customer requirements. Drafting clear and concise functional design documentation. Drafting and executing testing plans and scripts.
Developing reports or queries, application based financial models, financial analyses, management reports and presentation materials for departmental and senior management.
Performing extensive analyses of hospital data in order to facilitate the preparation of month end reporting information using knowledge of accounting principles, financial management and technical skills.
Working with Information Systems Department (ISD) and various technology vendors as directed. Identifies potential performance improvement/system tuning opportunities. Participating in the training of end-users.
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business / Information Technology or related field required and 3 years of experience in relative field.
PeopleSoft implementation and administration experience preferred.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and financial systems.
Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses and summarize the information and data.
