Wells Fargo Wealth Technology implements IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; drives to and leverages an optimized Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables the smooth servicing of Wells Fargo Wealth management customers. The Wealth Investment Risk, Strategy and Trading team delivers applications for front and back office personnel to manage risk, and strategy and trade orders generation on high net worth and ultra-high net worth client portfolios. The position is for a Sr. Java Software Engineer to provide application support to internal applications and integration support to vendor built applications. The role requires technical knowledge of Object Oriented programming and demonstrated skills in JAVA and Angular.
Secure Application Development
Design, develop and maintain solutions to support key business needs
Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software
Engineer Web Pages, Core Components and Common Services based upon pre-defined development models, languages and standards
Produce Functional System Design Documents
Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams and code comments
Debug and document existing systems through code analysis
Contribute to Application management activities such as Business continuity, SDLC & ERM activities, technical refresh support, critical surveys, analysis, platform releases, patching, vulnerabilities; and system management support for Technology mandates.
Provides rotational off-hours production support (level 2 on-call support)

3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
5+ years of Java experience
5+ years of Object Oriented experience
2+ years of relational database experience
1+ years of experience with Cloud technologies

A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
An industry-standard technology certification
