Boston Children's Hospital is a leading pediatric organization with a strategic commitment to IT excellence. We are currently looking for team members to join the team responsible for managing, optimizing and enhancing a large suite of Clinical Applications. The EMR Analyst shall be responsible for:
Supporting the technical aspects of our EMR, Cerner Millennium. This will include application configuration, interfaces, knowledge of the data, and familiarity with various clinical workflows.
Representing the EHR Project team in the execution of our project portfolio, serving the broader hospital. This encompasses a wide variety of applications that are aimed at meeting the needs of Clinicians, Patients, and Patient Families.
Collaborating with team members and the clinical community to match customers' needs to the capabilities of our software.
Taking the lead on issue resolution: This involves using your skills and resources to identify the root cause of a problem and/or the responsible party for additional troubleshooting.
Maintaining exceptional documentation throughout the life cycle of a project and the ability to hand off and present well documented training materials to other ISD teams and clinicians.
Demonstrating a consultant mentality, always striving to provide the best customer service and always trying to gain more knowledge and learn.
Clearly articulating and presenting solutions to colleagues and customers in the user community.
In order to qualify you must have:
Strong communication skills.
The ability to manage relationships with a wide range of customers.
A background in Health Care Information Technology with demonstrated success.
3-7 years in a related field.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience with perioperative IT systems is preferred.
Experience with SQL, CCL and/or Unix is preferred.
Cerner Core/ Millennium Application knowledge is a plus
