The Cincinnati Insurance Companies' IT department is currently seeking an experienced Agilist to help lead, advise, collaborate and coach others on the agile evolution journey. As a servant leader of agile development, this role will serve across the enterprise to help build our practices and coaching abilities to enable business and technical agility. The ideal candidate is agile-minded; they have hands-on expertise with multiple agile frameworks, the ability to adapt their stance based on context and have a focus on continuous improvement. lead/teach agile principles/improvement utilizing multiple frameworks with high proficiency and mastery
participate in professional activities to maintain knowledge around agile trends to mature our practice
work in partnership as an agile advisor to Leadership
design and implement agile maturity assessment process
lead the development of agile training across the enterprise working with Resource Management Office and Corporate Learning & Development
identify and drive value-based change across the enterprise
be the Agilist lead on key strategic projects/initiatives with broad impact and complexity (e.g. new team, new methodology, new platforms, etc.)
lead continuous improvement for the Agilist Center of Excellence
work with leadership to help coordinate various Centers of Excellence
work with leadership to establish common metrics
lead the evaluation and selection of agile tools and software
participate in cross functional discussions to influence continuous improvement with DevOps practices
coordinate with leadership and Resource Management to influence HR policies/practices in support of agile, team-based thinking
provide guidance to senior leadership

Be Equipped With:
10 or more years of Influential Leadership
5 or more years’ experience collaborating, facilitating, leading and coaching Agile teams in large strategic initiatives.

experience mentoring cross functional teams and influencing without authority
ability to assess and communicate progress against coaching, improvement and change roadmaps

organizing, planning and managing time
leading engagements with executive-level visibility and interaction
proven ability to lead/coach large efforts involving multiple business units and support organizations

maintaining a high sense of urgency and operating with a passion to succeed
providing excellent customer service
negotiating and influencing

a proficient level of experience and exposure with agile tools
an intermediate level of Microsoft® Office experience
sound business and technical acumen
Certification in multiple agile frameworks and coaching (e.g. ICP-ACC, PSM, PSPO)
familiar with leading insurance industry initiatives (highly preferred)
familiar with leading/coaching large multi-million-dollar efforts involving multiple teams on efforts with significant business implications across multiple areas
experience in LEAN, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
You've Earned: university degree/college diploma or equivalent business experience
