The purpose of this position is to support, maintain and enhance financial systems within Hospital Financial Services (HFS) to help insure accurate use of data. The Systems/Application Analyst performs a critical function as liaison between Healthcare Finance\Information Technology and its use in the operational\financial reporting for the Hospital. This role is accomplished by combining the candidates knowledge of Healthcare Operations and data systems\technology with professional interactions of OHSU employees who rely on this information to make decisions. The candidate must possess strong data systems knowledge, such as SQL, Microsoft Excel, accessing data through Epic Caboodle data warehouse (CDW), EPIC (Clarity on SQL server), SAP\BOBJ\Webi, Lumira, Tableau, Power BI, Axiom EPM and other systems as required. Education: Masters degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and two years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Bachelors degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and four years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Associates degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and five years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Six years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associates degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelors degree.
