GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The COVID Testing Manager will be responsible for the coordination of all elements of the University's COVID asymptomatic testing of students and employees. Will serve as the primary contact for the Broad Institute’s testing initiative. Responsible for overseeing the testing, developing the master calendar for surveillance testing, communications, and staffing, etc. Key member of the COVID response team for the University. The position is a temporary position to be contracted for the duration of the pandemic related needs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as the university liaison as it relates to all COVID testing-related matters.
Serve in a rotating on-call capacity for other covid-related matters, including weekend/evening outreach from local BOH/CTC, other types after-hour issues.
Serves as the primary point of contact with Broad Institute for COVID testing operation;
Responsible for the coordination and management of the contract vendor providing sample collection services.
Responsible for coordination and management of testing site staffing, training, oversight and scheduling. Review and authorize invoice payments associated with staffing service.
Prepare training and other necessary written materials for use during the testing process.
Participate in all training as it relates to third-party test administration and use of software and databases as applicable.
Track and report for testing compliance for all participants, including residential students and Athletes. Communicate non-compliance issues with appropriate departments, including Student Affairs, Housing & Residence Life, and Athletics.
Develop and maintain a master calendar for surveillance testing.
Coordinate and communicate testing schedules and calendars to all campus community members; manage the testing appointment invitations, scheduling system, and testing invitation data sets. Manage test participant databases, so as to exclude those participants who should not be tested (i.e. previous positives, etc.)
Provide daily management of the testing site(s), including staff supervision, supplies maintenance and ordering, equipment maintenance and set-up, compliance with screening, registration and testing protocols (i.e. screening to avoid symptomatic individuals coming for testing, screening to avoid previous positives coming for testing, etc.), site signage, etc.
Complete the daily packing of testing materials for collection by courier and processing by Broad.
Insures quality control of all data collected, including verifying completed consent forms, individual participant data including local address and contact information, etc.
Communicate with the COVID management team(s) so that efforts are coordinated and streamlined
Results reporting for COVID dashboard, to include Broad testing, as well as non-Broad sources
Respond to inquiries from participants regarding results or other system access concerns.
Other COVID-response related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required in Management, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred;
Three to five years’ experience that includes strong organization skills, detail oriented with superior verbal and written skills; experience in a medical/healthcare administration setting is preferred.
Independent self-starter, who also works well with teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
HIPAA knowledge desirable

Possess strong customer service experience, planning, organizational, time management, strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual abilities in Spanish are a plus.
Ability to perform above duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to satisfactorily pass a check conducted by the Criminal History Systems Board (CORI) as well as a completed background check satisfactory to the university.
