The IT Project Manager II shall be responsible for:
Serving as a communication link between the Project Task Forces and Work Groups. Assuring integration of all of the information into the work of the Steering Committee.
Collaborating in the development, maintenance and communication of the Project Plan, and develops and implements a communication system to keep all Department Heads aware of the current status of the project.
Supporting the development of planning activities including necessary flow charts, focus groups and other related activities. Providing technical support in data gathering and analysis for Project Sponsors.
Coordinating all tasks between functional and technical project team members as well as coordination of any vendor interaction if applicable. Ensuring that coupled tasks are aligned with each other and are performed in the correct order.
Maintaining minutes and meeting reports of all project activities. Synthesizing the information between meetings and assists Task Forces in meeting goals and objectives. Assuring that delegated and assigned tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
Maintaining currency in the field of project management and shares knowledge and experience with the project management team. Coaches/mentors project leads for other project using the Project Management Guideline Manual.
To qualify, you must have:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field.
Agile development methodology experience would be great; Scrum Master ideal but not mandatory.
