ABOUT THE COMPANY

Morgan Mckinley is working closely with an established insurance firm to hire an Information Security Specialist for their expanding team. The ideal candidate possesses at least 5 years' experience in Tech Security (Vulnerability Management, Security Tools etc) and Governance.

Job Role: INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST APAC

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Regional Information Security Officer, you will be tasked with assisting the Regional Information Security Officer (RISO) in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the global information security program across the APAC region.

The role will be expected to cover a broad range of specialist technical security-oriented tasks and duties within the region which includes:

• Vulnerability Management & Security testing assurance
• Incident Management and Response
• Technical Security issues and Risk Remediation tracking
• Regulatory compliance related assessment
• Security Monitoring & reporting
• Information Security Project /control and cyber risk profile improvement support

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

You should have

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of relevant hands-on, broad-based cyber security experience within the financial services
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Threat and vulnerability management - Infrastructure and application vulnerabilities assessment and analysis and tooling (Rapid 7 preferred)

• Strong knowledge of networking and network security products, technologies, and protocols (i.e. Firewalls rules, proxies, anti-virus etc.)

• Experience interpreting and applying information security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001/27002, PCI-DSS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, MAS, data privacy, Payment Card Industry)
