PL/SQL Developer

Description:

Our client has an immediate need for a PL/SQL Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and support of the technology solutions used by the business line.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of PL/SQL development experience with Oracle 11g /12c database
• Well versed with database concepts as well database design, writing complex SQL queries by using advanced SQL functions, & writing complex PL/SQL stored procedures and stored functions
• Excellent debugging skills
• Understanding the business/functional requirements, ability to work within a team and lead database efforts and to document customer requirements, translate into technical designs, and explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Problem-solving and interpersonal skills, as well excellent written and oral communications skills and demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience in the banking and financial services domain is required

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for determining systems requirements for new or modified database application programs, creates the system specifications and is responsible for the development, testing and implementation of efficient, cost effective application solutions
• Work in conjunction with the data architect/modeler on the data warehouse reporting solution
• Prepares deliverables such as source-to-target mappings, transformation rules documentation
