Solutions Architect / Application Developer

Do you enjoy developing tech / cloud based solutions with a background in the Actuarial or Insurance industries (or Consulting to those firms)? My client, a globally renowned Big4 Consulting firm, is looking for two 'Manager grade' candidates with a Development / Architecture background. The roles can be based either in London or Manchester.

You'll be part of a team developing solutions to Clients (Actuarial & Insurance firms) and translating requirements into analytical and automated solutions aimed at improving efficiency and creating a more controlled environment. You'll deliver these solutions using a range of large and complex datasets and tools such as R, SAS and Python.

We're really looking for self-motivated people who can develop automated solutions. You'll need to have a deep understanding of cloud technology (Azure) and have experience of developing complex / machine learning models in R or Python. Ideally you will have come from an Actuarial or Insurance environment but candidates with experience of developing Risk Models in a wider Financial Services background will also be considered.
