As the Senior Information Security Analyst, you an integral part of the Information Security Office and you will analyze and make recommendations pertaining to information security, incident response, policies, standards and awareness. You will perform confidential and sensitive systems reviews and investigations, including forensics, penetration and vulnerability testing and/or threat intelligence analytics as well as moderate to complex system analysis.
Participate in information security architecture and system design development, ensuring that all activities adhere to MPI’s information security principles, standards and processes.
Assist with the development of internal and external communication to educate target audiences regarding information security and deliver the information to target audiences.
Provide advisory and risk analysis services for various teams throughout the Corporation.
Assist with the planning and development of controls that manage access to corporate information in a manner which complies with policies and practices.
Lead the investigation of information security breaches.
Work with the security event management team to investigate new security threats and assist with remediation activities.
Formal education in Computer Science or similar discipline.
An Information Security Management professional designation is preferred.
Experience supporting Information Security issues and controls.
Demonstrated analytical and investigative skills.
Knowledge of emerging security trends and threats.
Knowledge of security and control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27002, ITIL.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required level of security clearance as a condition of employment in this classification: Reliability Status and Secret (Level II) Security Clearance.
