Junior / Senior System Analyst - Finance Transformation / IFRS

As junior / senior System Analyst, you will have great autonomy and resources to works closely with the accounting and actuarial work streams to ensure the solution meets the business requirements

Job Description:

• Responsible for participating in the IFRS 17 requirements discussion, solutions discussion, and knowledge transfer
• Actively supports the transition of new IFRS 17 knowledge across central and relevant local works teams
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems as required
• Designing new computer systems and frameworks
• Apply system-analyst techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine systems functional specifications
• Troubleshooting technical issues
• Collaborating with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent
• Conducting regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of Systems Development and related experience
• Proven ability to solve problems independently
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills and attention to details
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and HK statutory regulations relevant to insurance companies is preferred
• Knowledge of data modelling and data visualisation tools is preferred
• Experience in Oracle, SAP and Hyperion is preferred
• Knowledge in Cloud platform, Microservices and DevOps deployment methodology is preferred
• Ability in spoken Mandarin is preferred
