What does Core Engineering do?
We provide the building blocks, platforms and self-service tools that enable high availability, operationally resilient and scalable applications to be built to enable our business to deliver value to our clients. Quite simply, we make it easier for other people to operate. As part of this team, you will join a talented group of technology professionals who enjoy taking on challenges, such as:
- Solve the complexity around building horizontally scalable services.
- Build cloud native mindshare across company
- Partner with business leaders to find opportunities and value from platforms
- Ensure our cloud deployments are secure and robust
- Establish development best practices

This is a 6-month W2 hourly contract role with opportunity to continue based on performance. We are not able to consider C2C.
Position Requirements:
What are we looking for? A Software Developer with:
- Bachelor's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Financial Services or related industry background
- At least one of the following: Java, Python, .NET, Angular, React, JavaScript, WPF
- Nice to have: AWS, Azure, Unix, Automation
