What We’re Looking For The Procurement Systems Administrator supports the University by acting as the main point of contact for support of all Procurement and Payment specific systems. This role interfaces with analysts from the Financial Services team, as well as technical resources from within Information Technology Services department The Procurement Systems Administrator serves as a subject matter expert in the content, processes, and procedures associated with Procurement and Payables applications. This role interacts with campus users of these solutions through communications of key events (system outages, enhancements) and trainings.
In this role, you will oversee procurement systems support and maintenance to achieve efficiencies in all processes related to campus procurement, contracts, expenses, invoices, and payments.
The scope will include managing procurement and payables related technology environments, including system configurations, user access, testing, and integrations related to the Oracle Cloud (Ignite) system. Provide technology support for Procurement Services initiatives, managing software updates and enhancements from software form software providers, supporting technology for sourcing events, performing business analysis and reporting, tracking change requests and requirements, and managing outages in real time.
What will you do?
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field. Three to five years in supporting a procurement/supply chain environment. Five to seven years in information technology services for a matrixed entity.
