MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in an Information Technology field. (a minimum of 12 college credits plus relevant work experience may be substituted for required degree). Experience: More than three years of relevant work experience in the areas of System Administration, Switching/Routing, and Telecommunications. SELECTION CRITERIA: Knowledge of: 1. Architecture, maintenance, installation, and configuration of systems including Windows, MacOS, and Linux. 2. Protocols/systems are needed Active Directory Services, DHCP, DNAT, DNS, EIGRP, FTP, IGRP, IPTables, NAT, NTP, OSPF, RIP, SAML, SMTP, SNAT, SNMP, SSH, TCP/IP, TFTP, VLANs, WINS. 3. Cisco Phone systems, routers, and switches. Skills in: 4. Troubleshooting complicated multi-faceted environments with particular focus on the architecting of an ecosystem of systems. 5. How to review/create scripts to automate processes and understand the value of security. 6. Communicating, collaborating, and delegating to team members and have an attention to detail. 7. Organization and time management to manage multiple tasks, and projects at once. 8. Strategy and goal-setting necessary for steady progress. 9. Excellent oral and written communication.
