We are seeking a professional like you to lead a diverse and high performing group of GLP quality assurance professionals and functional groups responsible for the development and implementation of a GLP compliance program that assures GLP compliance. This team leader position leads staff that supports the AP Crop Protection business.

Formula for Success
Providing strong management and leadership skills, you will manage a high performing group of quality assurance professionals and technical functional groups responsible for the development and implementation of a GLP compliance program that assures GLP compliance. You will also take a leadership role in department projects and initiatives.
Your strong organizational skills will be necessary as you will track the progress of the projects assigned to teams and facilitate the ability of the teams to meet goals and objectives.
Leveraging your education in a related scientific discipline and your experience in the Agricultural and/or Non-crop Chemical Industry, you will develop and implement strategies to assure U.S. and global GLP compliance of crop protection registration studies and both internal and external facilities, ensure regulatory success, and take complete accountability for the projects residing within the team.
Relying on your proven experience in GLP Quality Assurance Auditing, you will establish clear expectations for high performing GLP auditors regarding customer relationships (internal business units and regulatory authorities).
Successfully engaging outside the organization, you will take a leadership role in monitoring EPA regulatory activities through interactions in industry associations and regulatory and scientific associations, leading committees and working groups. You will also function externally as a BASF GLP Expert/Representative for regulatory authorities and industry associations.
Applying your strong comprehensive knowledge of FIFRA and OECD Good Laboratory Practice Regulations, you will train and mentor new employees in EPA FIFRA Good Laboratory Practice requirements and internal company processes.
Your effective written and verbal communication skills will serve you well as you communicate and coordinate efforts with global members to assure GLP issues are resolved in a way that will satisfy US EPA GLP regulatory requirements. You will also keep BASF AP and international partners updated on regulatory issues that might affect them.
Your unwavering commitment to compliance will be evident as you advise APD and APR teams on regulatory issues impacting compliance and provide expertise on alternative strategies that can benefit the business.
