Our Greenville office has the opportunity for an experienced Applications Analyst 2 to join the firm’s Technology department. The Applications Analyst is responsible for assisting in supporting the full systems life cycle for the enterprise business systems of the Firm. Analysts will provide application maintenance and support to minimize service disruption and facilitate operations. Activities include, but are not limited to involvement with systems installation, integration, maintenance, upgrades, patch installation, configuration, troubleshooting and diagnosing root cause for problems, performance monitoring, a firm understanding of SQL scripting and stored procedure creation and management. Additional duties include working with related process stakeholders to identify and resolve related problems and issues as well as realize efficiencies as a result of process and systems improvements. This position will also serve the role of project manager for some if not all related activities. Candidates must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as application analysts work closely with business systems support analysts and other specialists, and occasionally train new employees and write technical reports. This position will participate in these tasks with limited supervision and direct execution, as well as through coordinating, overseeing, and delegating with and to Technology department resources as well as external vendors, service providers, contractors, and consultants.
