As our team is expanding, we're now seeking a Model Validation Quantitative Analyst to support the various regulatory deadlines set by the ECB and PRA.
It's an exciting time to be here. You'll be supporting both the corporate and retail bank - validating each model to ensure it is fit for purpose.
What you'll be doing
Conducting independent reviews of newly developed and proposed models/methodologies,
Providing assurance that highly technical models are fit for purpose, and giving clear guidelines of any weaknesses/restrictions for use
Replicating developments, analysing performance and constructing challenger models
Assessing adherence to the relevant regulatory guidance
Working independently to deliver validation projects to deadlines
Writing technical documents describing the validation
What we're looking for
Degree level education in a quantitative field (or Equivalent experience)
Track record of successful delivery in a modelling role
Proven ability of conducting statistical analysis in a coding environment such as SAS, SQL, R, VBA or Python
Experience of interpreting technical documentation and producing written reports which convey technical information in an accessible manner
Appreciation/knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements such as Basel or IFRS9 is advantageous

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.
