As a Loan Verification Analyst 2 on the Assignments team in Minneapolis, MN, the successful candidate's primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy of the assignment of mortgage and then execute the documentation so that it is able to be recorded by the appropriate county.
The Analysts in these roles will be responsible for taking leadership on the team and overseeing the processes required in ensuring assignments are executed with accuracy and on time. Research, utilizing multiple systems and lines of business, may be necessary at times. This will require managing and monitoring reporting and identifying gaps or opportunities within existing procedures.
This role requires that the team member serve and sign as an officer of the company.
Functions of this role also include but are not limited to: - Responsible for the leadership of the team - Identifying potential process improvements - Expected to understand all department functions - Interaction with internal business partners in multiple lines of business - Analyze, interpret, and document information from various sources including multiple online systems - Creation and implementation of new or revised procedures - Researching complex data, specifically legal documentation (for example, summons, subpoenas, liens, foreclosures, mortgages, deeds of trust, promissory notes, assignments of mortgage, allonges, endorsements, plat maps and/or surveys) as requested by other lines of business and/or the legal department - Participate in special projects - May be called upon to assist in the creation of assignments as volumes dictate
- Experience with mortgage documents strongly desired

2+ years of administrative experience, office experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience; or a BS/BA degree or higher and 6+ months of experience in the foregoing
Experience reading, understanding, interpreting, and researching loan origination, legal, or real estate documents
Experience managing a pipeline of work from assignment to completion with attention to detail under tight deadlines
Complex problem analysis and resolution skills
Knowledge and understanding of the importance of compliance and adherence to business/regulatory policies
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
