Systems Operations Engineer - Siebel Application Support Analyst

This analyst position will provide technical solutions for the Consumer Lending Business Technology Oracle Siebel platform and help innovate processes and capabilities that will make the platform more resilient and efficient.  This skilled team member will install and configure Siebel applications and also be responsible for application upgrades/patching within this high visibility Oracle Siebel Linux environment.  The resource will actively interact with development and various technical partner teams, vendors, as well as internal and external business partners to analyze and resolve complex issues within this tightly integrated environment.  As a resource on the Platform Management team, he/she will evaluate and recommend enhancements/changes to existing processes.  

Candidate must have strong Siebel administration experience and have an understanding of Siebel architecture concepts with emphasis on Load balancing, Veritas Clustering, Site minder Authentication, MQ integration, and BI Publisher Integration.  Familiarity with various database, MQ, NAS, and network systems is also highly desired.  The ability to take initiative, problem solve, and lead high visibility fast-paced efforts (while effectively communicating to technical and senior leaders) is a must.  The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and analyze complex issues in critical situations. This individual may mentor junior team members. The ability to work in a positive and collaborative manner, within a large virtual team setting, is crucial.  A proactive mindset (combined with a willingness to learn new processes and tools) is vital to this role.

• 5+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
• 3+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
• 6+ years of application production support experience
• 5+ years of experience providing monitoring tools support for applications built on JAVA or .NET platforms
• 4+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrating, supporting or development with Oracle Siebel
• 3+ years of Apache experience
• 3+ years of Weblogic experience
• 2+ years of Splunk experience
• 2+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL
• 1+ year of Autosys experience

• Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including management
• Strong team or technical leadership experience
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of technology application support: production and nonproduction environment
• 3+ years of Java experience
• Knowledge and understanding of network monitoring technologies

• Experience with Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP, IBM Liberty/WAS, WebLogic, or other similar products) on UNIX/Linux OS
• Experience with AppDynamics, APM (or similar) monitoring tools to solve and prevent application issues
