Business Development Manager, Flexible Benefits, Regional Office
This role is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the largest insurance Consultancy/Broker firms Globally. This new position sits within the APAC Regional office and incorporates online digital platforms within the product. The company is looking for someone with a passion and drive to work closely with key Clients and Customers with an approach of adopting a value-added services, increasing their well-established Health and Benefits product proposition. The product is also integrated within an online digital platform, and so a desire or understanding of working with online platforms is advantageous.
You will be expected to manage all aspects of New Business and Distribution development;
Build strong, effective long-term relationships with decision makers within international corporations, including C-Level executives.
Work with existing clients to upsell and provide value added flexible benefits service to their package.
Liaise with internal team members and colleagues to achieve warm referrals.
Achieve new business sales targets with a view to achieve realistic targeted growth.
Be a Subject Matter Expert in business-wide projects related to benefits and online digital platform products.
Delivery of client sales strategy, with execution of a specific marketing plan to promote Flexible Benefits proposition with target client
Sales background in the Health and Benefits insurance market is a MUST
Demonstrated track record in growing Sales Channels and developing and managing a strong portfolio of clients.
Experience in negotiating and managing high-value contracts with external and internal partners
Skill and ability to adopt a "Consultative" approach to effect problem solving and to explore options which ensure potential within a client account is maximised
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes
Good team player who believes in sharing skills and knowledge, to ensure success for all.
