Based in Singapore, our Investment Management Singapore is looking for Head of Intermediary South East Asia (will also be serving as Country Head/CEO of IM Singapore), the ideal candidate will take the responsibilities as follow:
Develop and implement the Intermediary distribution strategy for South East Asia areas (key locations: Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand) that is consistent with the overall BNY Mellon Investment Management distribution and growth strategy;
Grow and maintaining assets;
Maintain an understanding of the full range of BNY Mellon Investment Management products for client presentations purposes;
Coordinate and ensure delivery of after sales service to clients;
Keep appropriate records of sales activities including call meeting notes, prospective client contacts, activity against targets etc.;
Produce business plans and maintaining robust pipeline of business opportunities;
Work closely with Head of Institutional distribution and the Institutional distribution team for account planning and collaboration where applicable, i.e. Insurance clients/prospects;
Liaise with Marketing and Communications teams to ensure the appropriate activities are undertaken to support and strengthen the BNY Mellon Investment Management Brand in the intermediary channels;
Working hand in hand with other BNY Mellon teams (e.g. Product, Client Services, Marketing, Operations, Legal and Compliance) on planning, resources allocation and coordinating with IM EMEA sales team and our investment firms in order to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency;
Manage and look after IM Singapore Office related matters.
Minimum 15 years of financial industry work experience
At least 10 years of Investment Management/Asset Management related experience preferred
Leadership experience including the ability to align and inspire an executive team and staff
Fluent in written and spoken of English and Mandarin must be required or/and other South East Asian language is a plus
University Bachelor degree in business, marketing, finance, economics or related disciplines
Professional designations such as CFA, CFP, CIMA, MBA are a plus
Excellent presentation skills, strong closing skills, knowledgeable in business development and practice management, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
