The IT Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Director IT Business Partner in the relationship and alignment between Centura IT and business areas to ensure the alliance of IT as a trusted strategic partner and foster ITs understanding of the business technology needs.
The Business Analyst will focus on relationship building, account management, strategy planning and road mapping from the business to the IT team and recommending technical and process improvements that involve information technology within Centura Health. This position will participate in working with business users in the road mapping, analysis, design, testing, and implementation of business processes and technology solutions across the organization. This position will participate with the IT solution team in responding to technical support issues.
This role helps support the appropriate balance between the speed and efficiency of execution with the longer-term quality, stability and supportability for the technology and innovations that support our business.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
3 years of experience in IT and application of technology related to assigned business area
Prior experience working as a Business Analyst with direct business interaction, preferred
Working knowledge of project management principles, implementation, and development
Extensive experience in capturing and documenting business requirements
Ability to think laterally and constructively questioned established process
Experience implementing or supporting ERP systems, preferred
Experience designing systems and processes for Human Resources, Supply Chain and Finance, preferred
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, required
Physical Requirements:Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally
This position requires residence within a reasonable driving distance to the Corporate Office. Possible relocation assistance available for external candidates who meet distance requirements.
