Supports the Senior Director of Physician Practice Operations in the coordination of an organization-wide information resource which ties together clinical, fiscal and process measurement data to provide a reports and information distribution for the organization. Ability to prioritize projects based on organizational importance, resources available and required timeframes. Provides customers within the organization with information appropriate to their decision-making needs. Assists and serves as a back up person in coordinating and implementing performance measurement/tracking systems.
Will work under the direction of the Senior Director Practice Operations to ensure assignments are completed according to time frames and quality expectations are met
To manage the flow of data into and out of the Athena, Kaleidoscope and other Systems in support of Performance Improvement efforts by TPR, and multi-disciplinary teams and committees
To provide comprehensive secretarial, administrative, and data systems support primarily to the Practice Operations Leadership Team.
Supports and assists in coordinating, implementing and benchmarking identification systems such as MIPPS, MACRA, Patient Satisfaction and Balanced Scorecard system.
Provide customers with information appropriate to their decision-making needs
Document assigned analysis/reporting projects as to needs, resources required, plan of action and timeframe. Prioritize projects based on organizational importance resources available and required timeframes.
Attends TPR, Corporate, and Department meetings as assigned.
Meet TPR wide and department competencies.
Participates willingly in Department/ TPR process improvement plans.
Ensures confidentiality with patient and physician information and demonstrates understanding with HIPAA.
Responsible for other duties as assigned.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Assists Senior Director in performing a needs assessment for TPR wide performance improvement activities.
Assists in managing data bases to insure that information for decision making is available and accurate.
Assists Senior Director in ensuring projects are implemented in an acceptable time frame and with in the recommended budgetary allotments.
Assists in preparing adhoc reports
Enters information into data base timely for reporting purposes.
Assists in revising Administrative Policies and processing them according to policy.
Assists in recording and processing Tenet Policies.
Responds to requests in a timely manner.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply technical knowledge to business situations.
Knowledgeable and demonstrates competency in quantitative analysis and reporting methods, finance/ accounting measures, clinical/resource utilization measures, system analysis, statistical analysis and organization specific data sources.
Demonstrates ability to independently manage multiple priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Experience with software that is internally installed such as;
Health Information Management and Patient Accounting Systems
Degree in a relevant field with a background or experience in cost accounting.
