You will be at the intersection of Data, Systems and People
Work closely with technology and business stakeuholders to on-board critical data assets and establish relevant processes with the ultimate goal of making it easier for teams across Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking to find, understand, trust and access the data they need
Leverage your skills and knowledge to help establish our data governance practices and enhance data-driven business performance and compliance.
Support data owners through education and facilitation data issue resolution
Participate in the entire Software development life-cycle (SDLC) by writing requirements and user test plans as well as problem solving during development and deployment
What skills and competencies do we need?
3-8 years' experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, Business intelligence or Data Analysis
3-8 years' experience in capturing and documenting complex business & functional requirements
Exposure to Data Governance or Data Management tools (such as Collibra, Informatica, Rosetta etc.)
Experience with Data lineage, Data cataloguing, and/or data policy implementation
Experience with data analysis/BI tools such as MicroStrategy or Tableau
Experience with data profiling or defining data quality rules
Knowledge and Understanding of data governance challenges and best practice for metadata, data quality and data stewardship
Understanding and documenting the data attributes that are being sourced; maintaining a catalogue of the data lake's contents.
Determining how data attributes should be stored and managed; classifying and protecting personal and confidential data attributes.
Matching data attributes with data requirements; explaining how data could be utilized and interpreted.
