As a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst, you will be an integral member of the client reporting and analytics team, collaborating with a diverse set of talented team members to help solve multidimensional problems as it relates to government programs data, analytics and reporting. Your extensive Medicaid and Medicare expertise will help us better demonstrate the value of our services to our clients.
We’re looking for candidates with strong analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to solve complex problems and communicate those findings. We’re looking for candidates with 5+ years' experience in the US Healthcare Payer market with experience in value-based care and insurance company operations.
You will be responsible for data analysis that helps demonstrate the value of our services to our health plan clients.
You must have good financial intuition in how to show value through data for Medicaid / Medicare customers.
You will understand the strategic direction set by senior management.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in systems and processes required to support health plans.
Five years’ experience in the Healthcare industry with 2+ years’ experience in Healthcare data analytics.
Currently in role working with Medicare and/or Medicaid members, preferably with formal consulting experience.
Experience with data analysis and interpretation required, including extensive experience with analysis in Access, Excel, and (ideally) SQL.
Must be familiar with Medicaid and Medicare; experience with primary care preferred
Must be well versed with the key principles of value-based care (lowering total cost of care, improving quality and improving patient/member satisfaction) and understand frequently used quality measurement programs (Stars, CAHPS, HEDIS, Adult Core Set)
Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, CCDA and other common standards for data sharing
Experience analyzing clinical data sets.
Experience working with client executives and presenting to executive audiences both internally and externally.
Familiarity with principles and practices of quality management strongly preferred.
High degree of computer literacy required, including ability to learn new software and systems.
Preferred experience with Health Plan reporting.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
