As the Senior Payments Analyst, your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Perform regular payment runs
Investigate rejected transactions
Process manual payments respecting compliance and deadlines
Provide proof of payments, research historical activities and provide supporting documentation on request
Forecast payments and monthly funding of all local bank accounts (including intercompany)
Process daily bank statements
Investigate unclear/unidentified transactions and post manual journal entries
Support answers to audit queries, provide assistance and support to stakeholders
Provide support with the training of new team members
What you need:
Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics is preferred
Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in the field of Payments or Accounts Payable
Experience in a cash management position
Fluency in English
Preferably familiar with USGAAP and Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX)
Experience within a Shared Service Center is a plus
Attention to detail
High level of honesty, integrity, commitment and responsibility
Problem solving mindset
This role is based in our newly established offices in Amsterdam
40 working hours/week
