This Applications Development Specialist shall be responsible for:
Providing tier one support for Clinical Research Informatics software/application
Work with researchers to develop and refine research questions, while properly addressing confidentiality and ethical considerations.
Perform further tests to assess the study design and refinement of inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Complete follow-up data requests using SQL and scripting languages.
Educate our user community about a variety of internal and external data sources and data querying techniques.
In order to qualify you must have:
Bachelor's degree in STEM or Health Informatics .
Strong understanding of relational database concepts and technologies, particularly SQL.
Experience with data management and statistical software (e.g. SAS) is a plus
A positive attitude, ability to develop productive relationships with pediatric researchers and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
