Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange the leading provider of property and casualty insurance for rural electric cooperatives in 42 states is currently searching for a Systems Analyst.
Gathers requirements, designs solutions and develops applications to facilitate and improve day- to-day company operations.
Essential Job Functions:
Creates, designs and maintains business critical applications using Visual Basic.NET, C# and SQL Server.
Documents IT department processes and procedures.
Installs new software and updates. Sets up and configures new hardware. Provides desktop support to internal users.
Evaluates queries and tasks performed on the databases. Monitors and corrects data errors within the system.
Performs other duties as needed.

Knowledge of computer networks.
Skill in operating various computer equipment and programs such as printers, modems, servers and laptops.
Experience using report writing software such as Crystal Reports.
Knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience using Microsoft’s Visual Basic.
Experience using Microsoft C#
Experience with Microsoft ASP.Net MVC
Experience in building web APIs
Experience in managing merge replications for SQL Server
Skill in application software such as Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel
Education and Experience:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. Technical certifications helpful. 1-2 years programming or report writing experience required.
