The IT Business Analyst II shall be responsible for:
Eliciting, analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of stakeholders using various techniques, e.g. interviews, workshops, or surveys.
Collaborating with project sponsors and project managers to determine project scope and vision, and clearly identifying project stakeholders.
Working closely with business partners and other stakeholders to define business goals for new technology implementations.
Acquiring a working knowledge of existing technical processes, and apply this knowledge to assigned tasks and projects.
Translating stakeholder requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to technical members of the project team.
Creating process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
Assisting with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options, and communicating these back to the business stakeholders.
Managing and tracking the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
Communicating changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements -- verbally or through written documentation -- to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
In order to qualify you must have:
BS/BA degree in Business, Healthcare or Technology-related field or equivalent experience.
Two to four years of related experience doing business analysis, process optimization.
Ability to proficiently elicit and document stakeholder requirements and business processes of varying complexity.
Ability to organize and prioritize coordination of multiple jobs/assignments.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships to gain trust and respect.
Capable of building constructive relationships to foster collaboration and cross-functional thinking.
Advanced analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn new concepts quickly, easily make connections among previously unrelated ideas and enjoy the challenge of unfamiliar tasks.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle difficult situations and work well with multiple instructions and directions.
Ability to sustain level of energy and willingness to work as a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven and ambiguous environment; self-motivated and self-directed.
Flexiblility - ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
