Specialist IV, Information Technology (Endpoint Support Analyst)

The Office of Information Technology is seeking applicants for an Endpoint Support Analyst position. This position will provide client support with an emphasis on installing computers, troubleshooting issues with Windows and Mac operating systems, commonly used software applications, mobile devices and a wide array of peripheral devices.
Installs computers and peripheral devices for clients in administrative units.
Provides advanced technical support to resolve complex software, hardware, mobile and peripheral device issues.
Prepares and maintains computers managed with Intune.
May assist with hardware and software evaluation or testing as part of the development of new initiatives undertaken by supported groups.
May perform other related duties as assigned by the IT Manager.

In-depth knowledge of current Windows desktop and Mac operating systems. Extensive experience troubleshooting commonly used software applications, computer hardware, operating systems, and mobile devices. Experience managing computers with Intune. Interaction with clients is required in this role, so the candidate must be service-oriented. Candidates must be skilled at organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple concurrent tasks.
Bachelor’s and/or Graduate degree from an accredited institution in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Other Desired qualifications include previous work in a technical support environment. Previous work experience in a university environment.
