Reporting to the Director of Business Systems, you will work with Merit's Project Management Office and the Senior Business Systems Project Manager. You will manage project management tasks, documentation, internal user engagement on requirements, user acceptance testing, incoming ticket assessment, and low-level system administration tasks (after completing the required training).

WHAT YOU'LL DO *
Essential functions for this position are followed be an (E). • Work as liaison among customers to analyze and communicate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems (E) • Understand problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that help the business to achieve its goals (E) • Contribute to service enhancement projects, by identifying and quantifying customer requirements, delineating the gaps between customer requirements and the capabilities of existing technology and resources, and recommending improvements (E) • Conduct analysis of business and user needs; Document requirements; Resolve dependency and integration issues across product and service areas (E) • Analyze processes and translate them into written technical requirements (E) • Develop designs, including design documentation, for new applications or modifications to existing applications; identify areas for improvement and makes recommendations for enhancements (E) • Develop and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of internal procedures and business processes within the scope of a functional area • Implement test plans to support infrastructure, software upgrades and releases (E) • Work as Customer-facing first level Support for Business Systems tickets to evaluate new enhancements and support Business Operations • Provide daily operations and tier three support for applications, coordinate with team members, service support groups, and vendors (where justified) to resolve incidents and requests • Follow procedures and guidelines to solve or escalate incidents and requests • Evaluate problems and determine priority of responding • Follow up with customers on incidents and requests; Provide end-user support to encourage product adoption (E)
SKILLS YOU HAVE *
Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience • Two (2) years of demonstrated experience in a related role requiring confidentiality, customer service, organization, prioritization, and troubleshooting to conduct systems and process analysis and design • Knowledge of systems development methodologies (including waterfall and iterative approaches) • Systems analysis, development, and testing experience • Gather, translation, prioritization, and system requirements documentation experience • Data analysis and process modeling experience • Proficiency with current computer technology and applications (e.g. query tools, calendaring, spreadsheet, and collaboration applications) • Work with customers, team members, support teams, vendors, and technical organizations to understand, advocate for, evaluate, and support enhancements, resulting in plans and services that use the capabilities of existing technology and meet customer and organizational expectations • Customer service focus
