IT Senior Business Systems Analyst

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Join and be part of a team migrating multiple legacy on-premise applications to Oracle cloud Financials (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM), Supply Chain Execution, and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
Partner with the System Implementer and the internal teams in configuration & development cycles, systems integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) and cutover activities
Optimize procure-to-pay processes for efficiency and compliance
Collaborate with release manager, quality assurance (QA), and change management teams in deploying quarterly releases
Provide required training and assistance to business users as needed
Work with users to document report specifications, and test developed reports
Identify functionality gaps and develop functional requirements document to address these gaps including test scenarios and test scripts
Take accountability and complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
Stay on top of new Oracle cloud financials features and functionality in providing business users with desired functionality and on-going support.
Adhere to and demonstrate compliance with appropriate electric utility industry regulatory requirements. Attain knowledge and remain knowledgeable of development in regulations, laws, standards and best practices applicable to the functional area including, but not limited to, Standards of Conduct, Environmental, Employment Law, NERC Reliability Standards and Safety. REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
Experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with increasing levels of responsibility
Deep knowledge of Oracle Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Inventory with a good understanding of other Oracle cloud Financial modules
Expertise in end-to-end Source to Pay process, Accruals, Supplier onboarding, OCR, 1099 reporting
Experience in Integration with different banks, trading partners
Expertise in building reports using Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence (OTBI)
Understanding of business analysis principles, processes, and techniques.
Ability to develop and prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
Creative problem solver with good understanding of accounting financial processes.
Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new products or platforms.

Eight (8) years of progressive business systems experience, preferably in Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications with at least one Oracle Cloud Financials implementation experience
